BUCKTHORN, HONEYSUCKLE AND OTHER INVASIVE SAPLING REMOVAL
Removal involves cutting and dragging trees to the woodland corners and stacking trees so the Forest Preserve District can remove them easily.
Steering committee volunteers will herbicide the stumps.
RAIN, SNOW OR SHINE; ORIENTATION AT 8:30 AM.
MEET: at the kiosk at Grant and Bennett for sign in, equipment, assignments and orientation.
CLOTHING: dress according to the weather; wear boots; bring water and a hot drink, if desired; equipment provided
