SPRING IS FULL OF OPPORTUNITY
IN THE FOREST PRESERVES OF COOK COUNTY
Get out of the house for lots of fun nature events and programs!
Despite yesterday’s late-season snow, warm spring weather will be here soon. With 69,000 acres of prairies, woods and wetlands; miles of hiking trails, bike paths, lakes and streams; and six nature centers, the Forest Preserves of Cook County is one the best places to stretch your legs, shake off the rust of winter and get back in touch with nature.
Once again this season, we are offering FREE transportation on the Nature Express to some of our most popular events. To learn more and register, visit fpdcc.com/natureexpress. Nature Express events are noted below.
All Forest Preserves events are family-friendly and free unless otherwise noted. For a complete list of spring events in the Forest Preserves of Cook County, to download our quarterly brochure and to get the most up-to-date information, visit our redesigned events page at fpdcc.com/events.
