At a meeting today, the Cook County Health and Hospitals System Board considered an ordinance to update terminology in the Adoption and Family Services unit to comply with new laws.

The Cook County Health & Hospitals System Board consists of nine directors and five standing committees. The board oversees all operations related to the Cook County Health & Hospitals System.
