HACC Wait Listing Opening

The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) Low Income Public Housing Program will re-open the wait lists for one, two, and three bedroom standard and accessible units located at 1314 Wentworth Ave, Chicago Heights, IL 60411 for persons 18 years of age and older. The household will be required to pay rent equal up to 30% of their adjusted annual income.

The annual income limits are as follows:

1 person household: $51,000; 2 person household: $58,250; 3 person household: $65,550;

4 person household: $72,800; 5 person household $78,650; 6 person household: $84,450;

7 person household: $90,300

*income limits are subject to change per HUD Guidelines

Pre-Applications will be available online beginning Tuesday October 6, 2020 at 10:00 AM. To apply, please log onto the HACC’s website at www.thehacc.org and from HACC’s homepage click on the link “See Our Open Waitlists.” Under Low Income Public Housing Program, the applicant must select “Sunrise Apartments” and then select “Applicant/Resident login” to begin the online- application for housing. If you have applied online before for this specific property or if this is your first time applying to this property, you must select “Click here to register” and create a new email and password to register. Pre-applications will be available to be submitted electronically through the website; the wait list will close at 4:00 PM on Thursday October 8, 2020.

HACC will only accept up to 150 applications per bedroom size in order to decrease wait time.
